The Palio del Recioto e dell'Amarone is a food and wine event held in Negrar on Easter and Easter Monday every year. There are various events scheduled: food and wine stands in the streets of the village, a fun fair for children, painting exhibitions, vintage cars and much more.
In the streets of the village there will be stands of various wineries that will present the Recioto of this vintage in Preview: a young wine, very sweet and fruity but still with an important alcohol content.
The following Tuesday is the Gran Premio Palio del Reciotoche is a men's road cycling race, held in the hills of Valpolicella.
