Tremosine boasts inscription on the list of the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Italy': a well-deserved recognition for this extensive territory, composed of no less than 18 hamlets, immersed in the tranquillity of nature and overlooking the lake, allowing the eye to wander in the blue waters.
Climbing up from Lake Garda, after having travelled along the exciting Strada della Forra, you come to Pieve, the village of Tremosine where the 'terrace of thrills' is located near the parish church of San Giovanni Battista. It is a terrace suspended in the void at an altitude of 350 metres, an impressive vantage point from which to admire the lake, the coastal road and Monte Baldo. A combination of colours and views that only an environment such as Lake Garda can boast.
Another must-visit is the Strada della Forra, which is described as one of the most beautiful roads in the world as well as being the most beautiful panoramic road on Lake Garda. Precisely because of its breathtaking view and the hairpin bends that climb the mountain with the image of the lake always in the background, it was used as the setting for the filming of the film Quantum of Solace in the saga of agent 007James Bond.
