Close to the 46th Parallel, lies an area with an unusual climate, mitigated by the waters of the lake and exacerbated by the Dolomites, an unusual Mediterranean microclimate in an Alpine context. It was here in 1957 that the Riva del Garda Agraria winery was created, which had already been established thirty years earlier as an association, later becoming a cooperative with no less than 280 winegrowers, united by the desire to promote and support agriculture in the Upper Garda area. The members have always placed great emphasis on organic cultivation practices and play on the typical crops of the area, selecting only the best. In fact, their Pinot Nero Elesi Trentino Superiore Doc is representative, aristocratic but slender on the palate, juicy, with an excellent flavour texture and harmonious tannins, growing on calcareous soils. L'Agraria is a historic winery but at the forefront in the use of equipment and materials, also recognised on the olive-growing scene with notable national and international awards that each year attest to the work done.
