Parco Giardino Sigurtà

A green treasure with over 600 years of history!

Just a few kilometres from the city of Verona is the Sigurtà Garden Park, one of the most admired green oases in the world thanks to its extension, 600,000 square metres, and numerous points of historical and natural interest.

Enchanting and colourful blooms accompany you throughout the seasons: in March and April Tulipanomania will leave you breathless with more than a million tulips in bloom in the most varied shapes and shades; in May an avenue of 30,000 roses will take you on a kilometre-long floral walk, while hundreds of rustic and tropical water lilies will dance in the summer in the park's 18 ponds, creating fantastic colours. Scenic boulevards, lawns and enchanting views characterise this green corner, designated in 2013 as Italy's Most Beautiful Park and in 2015 as Europe's Second Most Beautiful Park.

And then there is the Labyrinth, the Great Grass Carpet, the Small Castle, the Hermitage, the collection of 40,000 boxwoods: these and many more are the points of interest kept in the Sigurtà Park, which boasts a long history of over six centuries. For children and school groups, a stop not to be missed is the Didactic Farm, which, thanks to the presence of farmyard animals including the Paduan Hen and Tibetan goats, is the place for exciting educational workshops for young visitors to the Park.
