A mix of history, passion and design made in Italy!

One of the most exciting private museums in Europe, the Nicolis Museum in Verona tells the story of 20th century technology and international design.

The Nicolis Museum showcases the jewels of made-in-Italy and international mechanics in a tour that presents, room after room, rich collections ranging from historic cars, motorbikes and bicycles to cameras and typewriters to aircraft.

The museum was founded thanks to Luciano Nicolis' great passion for collecting unique technical and mechanical pieces. A collection that represents the story of a lifetime and that found its first exhibition space of 6000 square metres in 2000, the year of its inauguration. A Museum of Cars, Technology and Mechanics based on historical technology and housed in a completely accessible, modern building.

The jewels of Luciano Nicolis have been divided into eight different collections with the aim of building an organic and structured itinerary suitable for every visitor.

The "numbers" are important: about 200 vintage cars, 110 bicycles, 100 motorbikes, 500 cameras, 100 musical instruments, 100 typewriters, small aircraft, a rare collection of about 100 Formula 1 racing wheels and hundreds of works of human ingenuity are exhibited according to historical and stylistic routes; the exhibition area is flanked by the Congress Centre, the historical archive, the library and one of the best-stocked bookshops in northern Italy on the world of motors.
